Photographer Andre Perez and I worked together to photograph 60+ trans and gender non-conforming people.
We wanted to empower 60+ trans people to tell their own stories but needed some parameters, so Andre Perez and I developed a resource for the photo shoots.
The portraits were published in Windy City Media and on the campaign website. We also ran print and web ads in Chicago’s New City magazine.
It was incredible to see the community come together and witness the pride of the individuals being photographed.
